LIMITED OPENING IN 2021 DUE TO COVID
WE ARE 100% VOLUNTEER RUN AND ONLY OPEN TO PUBLIC ON FIVE DAYS EACH YEAR.
PLEASE CHECK THE DATES/TIMES/UPDATES CAREFULLY BEFORE TRAVELLING!
Wealden Cave and Mine Society are pleased to announce that public visits to Reigate Caves will be possible again in 2021.
We are still planning to hold five open days over the course of the summer. The next open day will be on June 26th (subject to the government plans for lockdown). We will be able to open two caves, which will be the East Side Caves in Tunnel Road, and Barons’ Cave. All tours will be guided and at the time of writing limited to 5 visitors per tour. There is an online booking facility for these tours, and it is important to be aware that we will not be able to sell any tickets on the day this year. If you have not bought a ticket beforehand, you will not be able to enter the caves.
Please revisit this page for updates. As the year progresses we hope to open more of the caves and to increase the size of the tour groups, subject to government guidelines and volunteer availability.
